CELLULITIS

Cellulite Treatment

Cellulite has no cure but it can be improved and prevented. It is characterized by the nodular appearance of the skin and is due to an abnormal storage of fat and alteration of the subcutaneous tissue.

This is a typically female problem that consists of the abnormal deposit of fat in adipocytes (fat cells of the hypodermis) and water (dermis and hypodermis). As adipocytes grow, the membranes that surround them deform and pull the skin attachment points, which causes the appearance of nodules. The process is maintained due to the decrease in veno-lymphatic circulation, toxin retention, nutritional impoverishment, edema with loss of elasticity and the appearance of fibrosis. Cellulite zones become inert regions that do not react to physical exercise or weight loss regimes.

However, there are several types of cellulite: hard, soft, edematous and mixed, at different stages of development, which require a rigorous evaluation for a personalized diagnosis.

To this end, it is necessary to handle a wide range of techniques - mesotherapy, radiofrequency carboxytherapy, ultrasound, endermology, (…) are some of the treatments that can be performed at our Clinic - so that each patient can have an individualized option, suitable for their condition. and, as such, effective. The treatments are quick, comfortable, little or nothing invasive and have to be repeated approximately weekly, for 1 to 2 months. Maintenance is done annually, according to the response of each patient

And because cellulite that took years to set in will not disappear overnight, the Cellulite Program was also created, to be followed for 6 months, for prolonged and effective results.
