HYPERHIDROSIS TREATMENT
Hyperhidrosis is the name given to excessive sweating due to increased sweat secretion by the eccrine sweat glands. When it appears in a person and without the occurrence of a stimulus, such as physical exercise, heat or stress, it is called primary hyperhidrosis. It can be a generalized disorder of the whole body, but more often it is localized, affecting the armpits and/or the palms of the hands and/or the soles of the feet. Several treatments have emerged for this pathology, none of which has been effective or acceptable by patients:
Botulinum toxin, by inhibiting the production of sweat in the sweat gland, allows to achieve excellent results in this pathology, being effective and with almost zero side effects. The decrease in sweat is observed at the end of the first week and remains for about 8 to 12 months.
