TREATMENTS  VASCULAR

HOW IT WORKS?

This Light is preferentially absorbed by the superficial vessels of the skin, which are thus coagulated and gradually absorbed by the body. Laser is safe and does not cause blemishes or scars. This laser has specificity for a single skin structure, which are the vessels, not affecting the other structures.

Vascular laser treatments are used in several sessions, with a time interval of about 6 to 8 weeks between sessions and a duration of about 30 min.

The number of sessions varies with the pathology to be treated, being from 3 to 8 sessions in the case of varicose veins of the lower limbs. In vascular lesions of the face such as ruby angiomas or vascular spiders, they can be resolved with just one session.

ALWAYS AVOID SUN EXPOSURE

Glucose Sclerotherapy

To treat varicose veins, micro varicose veins, vessels and telangiectasias (spilling) is a treatment without surgery.

A technique called glucose sclerotherapy may be used. The technique consists of applying an injection with a concentration of hypertonic glucose at 50 or 75%, directly into the varicose veins, until they disappear completely. This sclerosing drug is harmless to the body. Glucose sclerotherapy can cause pain and to lessen this discomfort one can use an anesthetic cream before the procedure. It is contraindicated for diabetic patients , as it can change the glucose values in the body.

There is a hardening and obstruction of blood flow, in altered “vases”. With this obstruction, the blood will seek healthier veins so that it flows again in the region, eliminating the reddish vessels, improving the aesthetic aspect and providing beautiful and healthy legs.

The number of sessions will vary depending on the size of the varicose veins and the size of the treated area. On average, 3 to 5 sessions, performed once a week, can eliminate most small-caliber varicose veins.

It is recommended to use glucose in most patients, as it is generally better tolerated by the body, not causing allergies and complications. However, bites can leave stains on the skin, so you should:
